FMEC Legacy Campaign. The Board of Directors of the FMEC has determined that this Legacy Campaign will ensure the future success of FMEC.
Our vision has always been expansive and consistent. We believe that Family Medicine can improve the health of our nation and that by expanding the availability of family physicians and facilitating the remarkable leadership of Family Medicine physicians, we will improve the health of this nation.
Dr. Stacy Potts, Past President of FMEC, challenged us with a $100,000 gift. The first $100,000 raised will be matched to start the Legacy Fund for a total of $200,000.We hope to raise this by the end of 2021 and will continue to campaign for three more years to raise a total of $500,000.
Further, the Legacy Campaign is being undertaken in honor of the remarkable work Larry Bauer has accomplished at the FMEC. He is our founder and our leader, but we, as donors and Board Members commit to sustain the Legacy of FMEC.
Thank you. On behalf of the Board of Directors, we invite you to join us in making an investment in the future of the Family Medicine Education Consortium.
Our commitment to you is that we will ensure that FMEC continues its robust work to develop the U.S. health care into a primary care-driven system. With your support, there will be more Family Physicians providing transformative primary care and better health in your community and our country.
